Terryglass Castle
Terryglass Castle
Only a single story remains of this early 13th Century square castle with round turrets at each corner. The NE turret was originally accessible only by outside stairs. The NW turret has circular stairs which are now blocked by a steel-pipe door. A dividing wall separates the ground floor in two. The castle looks down on Lough Derg.

This is a view of the west side of the castle.
