J3374 : Bank Street, Belfast (2)
taken 11 years ago, near to Belfast County Borough, Shankill, Beal Feirste, Skegoneill and Cliftonville, Northern Ireland

There was an application for planning permission advertised on 15 April 2011 as follows “0397/F Lands from Royal Avenue, along Berry Street, Bank Square , Chapel Lane and lands at King Street between College Avenue and Castle Street Environmental improvement scheme, comprising new paving treatments, lighting, planting, street furniture with events space, and erection of a new single storey pavilion on Bank Square to accommodate a cafe restaurant (excluding hot food bar)”. The area, although busy during the day, has been neglected over the years. The advertisement does not refer to Bank Street and Marquis Street although they would usually be identified as forming part of the same area.
