Geograph - photograph every grid square

An abandoned section of the Malone Road, now part of Clement Wilson Park. It seems to have opened around 1830 as part of the (then) road to Lisburn and Dublin J3067 : The Upper Malone Road near Dunmurry. The area is now bypassed by the new Shaw’s Bridge J3269 : Shaw's Bridge, Belfast (1) and the Milltown Road J3269 : The Milltown Road, Belfast (1) of 1977.
Definitely part of Belfast in 2011, it used to be outside the city boundary J3269 : Old boundary post near Shaw's Bridge, Belfast, J3269 : Boundary post, Belfast and J3269 : Old boundary post near Newforge Lane, Belfast which explains why I spent a long time in a fruitless search of old street directories. J3269 : Old road, Clement Wilson Park, Belfast (October 2014) shows a similar view in autumn.
