Cross, Muckish

A huge cross on Muckish Mountain in Donegal. From a distance this looks like a wooden cross; only when you get close do you realise that it is constructed from iron girders. A local man I met at the summit explained that it was brought here by helicopter a few years ago, replacing a wooden cross that stood on the site for many years.
