RSPB Hide at Nigg Bay
Nigg Bay is an extensive area of mudflat, saltmarsh and wet grassland on the Cromarty Firth. Large numbers of wading birds, such as bar-tailed godwits and knots, use the bay for feeding and roosting from October to March. A new wet grassland is being created to attract lapwings and redshanks.
