Castles of Leinster: Tubbrid, Kilkenny (1)

This four storey C15 Grace family tower is currently shrouded in scaffolding and appears to be undergoing restoration, ongoing since at least 2009 by all accounts. Its location is about 7km east of Urlingford and just south of the R693.

Update: the restoration work was finally completed sometime before 2017:
