The "Riverdance" off Greenore, Carlingford Lough
The "Riverdance" off Greenore, Carlingford Lough

See J1417 : "Riverdance" departing Warrenpoint. The marked channel from Warrenpoint to the mouth of Carlingford Lough takes a route which brings it very close to the shore at Greenore. The ferry “Riverdance” on passage from Warrenpoint to Heysham is approaching the point where it will make a sharp turn to port before passing parallel to the shore. It will then make a more gentle turn to port before passing close to the shore at Greencastle and thence to the open sea. The Co. Down side of the lough rises in the background.
