What about us, then?
When I passed earlier, these ewes were grazing peacefully, and didn't even look up at me. When I came back, they were bunched together, all looking in the same direction with ears up stiffly. The attraction was the vehicle in
NJ2363 : Feeding Time, which they recognise as the means of delivering food. Sadly for them, they were not on the receiving end today. Their lambs were taken from them four or five days ago, and they are on a strict diet of grass only until their milk dries up.
