The Madman's Window
The Madman's Window
This is a sea stack standing on a raised beach. As to the name "The Madman's Window", local legend has it that after his fiancee was drowned in the bay a young man sat here day after day vainly looking out to sea through a hole in the rock waiting for his would-be bride to return.
