This is in the former Lyness Oil Fuel Depot. The two chimneys served three Lancashire boilers with induced draught and the left hand end of the building houses three large steam pumping engines. A truly wild and spectacular setting in the autumn. I had a spare week so went to Orkney for a day - keen or what?
