Láthair Mhainistreach an Riasc (Reask Monastic Site)
Reask was an important early monastery, probably founded in the 6th century. This is the famous 'Reask Stone', a cross-inscribed slab, which is decorated with spiral designs and carved with the letters DNE which stand for Domine, Latin for O Lord. The letters can be seen sideways on the left side of the stone.
