A roadside monument close to Clochandighter Hill. It bears the inscription
"No6 Company Kincardinshire Rifles were the first corps of Scotch volunteers to go to camp which they did at Clochandighter from 19th - 26th June 1869. Erected by their successors Buchan, Mar and Mearns Bn of the Gordon Highlanders July 1930"
