The top platform of the 1931 Lilleshall inverted vertical triple expansion pumping engine - TL8308 : Museum of Power, Langford - steam engine. This shows the layshaft operating the drop inlet and exhaust valves on the three cylinders. The engine is very nicely conserved and was running very well.
TL8308 : Beeleigh Mill This was a combined water and steam mill site but the watermill has long since burned down and only footings and water courses remain.
The steam mill has a Woolf compound beam engine and the only "elephant" boiler in the UK. The hurst frame remains but all the stones are gone. This is a site of great interest. It is usually open on Mills open and Heritage Open Days.
