This animal feed and vegetable oil complex is now largely disused. the chimney is on a big modern boiler house that is now abandoned. The tower was on a laboratory building that is now boarded up.

On the opposite side of the railway is a complex that included an oil extraction mill that used hexane as the solvent and was powered by a 1930 Brown Boveri steam turbine with rope drives. This is all derelict now and the urban explorers have photographed the plant. I visited here many years ago when it was working but, due to the flammable nature of hexane, photography was banned, as were electronic watches.
