The Parish Church of Ashfield, Cootehill
The Perpetual Curacy of Ashfield came into being in 1795 and the church was built between 1796 and 1800. Major alterations to the building were made in 1862. At that time the number of Protestants in the curacy was 1,600. Today, the number is somewhat smaller standing at around 60. The church stands in an isolated area close to the White Lake.
