The Movilla Road, to Millisle, just past the Ballyreagh Road - where the town ends on this side of Newtownards. The Google map is more than a bit awry. It shows the main road as the Ballyreagh Road but fails to mark the real Ballyreagh Road although it appears clearly on the satellite photograph. It does however show a narrow and private farm road, further to the north east. It also shows a place called “Port Rush” on town side of here – a name which appears in various Google town maps.

Rivenwood development, Newtownards

A major development site, between the Movilla and Donaghadee Roads, subject to the following planning permission (15 February 2016) “X/2014/0370/F Phase one of 100 houses, with part of an Eastern Distributor Road and a separate access from the Movilla Road between Milford Manor and 118 Movilla Road Newtownards and a 2 hectare site set aside for future school, temporarily landscaped as open space (Amended proposal description and plans received) NS20 Housing zoned lands between Old Forge Lane/Old Forge Way/Old Forge Drive and 114c 116 118 and Millford Manor Movilla Road Newtownards”.
