Teach Ceoil (former Church of St. Andrew's), Church Street, Ennistymon
Since 1989 this has been a cultural centre operated by the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, which is devoted to the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music. Formerly the building was St. Andrew's Church, a Church of Ireland (Anglican) church. It was built in 1831 and replaced an earlier church which later fell into ruin.
It is worth mentioning here that there have been several different spellings of the town name in English, of which currently Ennistimon and Ennistymon seem equally popular. I have decided to use the latter.
