Curious sign on country road

This road sign is apt - not long after the corner beyond, the road abruptly ends and if you're immensely stupid you could end up in the estuary (the last 15 metres of the road is almost completely undriveable now!) Once upon a time there used to be a ferry to cross the estuary which explains the existence of this road.

Like many Irish country roads, a lawn in the middle is the norm ;) Despite being a remote country road to nowhere, this was surprisingly smooth to drive.
