J4272 : Vacant ground, Dundonald
taken 12 years ago, near to Dundonald, Co Down, Northern Ireland
A housing scheme, beside the Comber Road, Dundonald, stalled by insolvency during the recession. The site has been sold to another developer who describes it as “Millmount Village consists of a new village being developed on the outskirts of Belfast which will eventually provide up to 1,000 homes. The development will provide a range of housing from apartments, townhouses to detached units with close proximity to nearby retail and leisure facilities and strong transport links to the city centre. . . . This scheme is one of the largest developments currently under construction in Northern Ireland and our involvement in the scheme demonstrates the confidence in Lagan Homes to deliver on large and complex schemes whilst maximising value recovery on previously ‘distressed’ schemes.”
The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of geographical and historical record only. I have no connection with anyone involved in the development.
