Compressor House, Snailbeach Lead Mine
The grade-II-listed Compressor House (right) dates from 1881. The two-storey building is built of limestone rubble with red brick; its chimney is in red brick. This view shows the external staircase (right) leading to a (blocked) entrance at the first-floor level. See also
