Litherskew Farm dates from the 16th century and lies on a limestone plateau high above the River Ure on the north side of the dale. The grid square, best seen here from across the river, extends north as high fell to the crest of the ridge.
Staggs Fell,555m, is just visible on the right hand side of the photo to the northeast.
