Two walkers at the end of the 'Long Hole' in Bangor, taken shortly after a passing shower. This image shows the concrete paths and harbour walls that were created when the natural harbour was improved c1960.

The Long Hole

Also known as the 'Big Hole', this small harbour in Bangor, now silted up and disused, was created when stone was quarried out in the 19th Century.
