Shippea Hill railway station
Shippea Hill railway station
Shippea Hill, a lonely fenland outpost a few miles from Ely, now has a very sparse train service; you can catch a train to Norwich once a day Monday to Saturday, but you can only return once a week on a Saturday! From July 2012 even the signalbox will be gone, leaving this station completely unmanned.
