New telephone box, Belfast
A new Euro-payphone Limited telephone box just erected in Wellington Place (Newry Road on the Google map), near the corner of Upper Queen Street, awaiting the installation of the phone.
Telephone boxes, Northern Ireland

A series of photographs showing some of the public telephone boxes in Northern Ireland. With the widespread ownership of mobiles the use of the public phone had declined. I have a notion that they will become like railways – still some left but most closed.

Note added 16 February 2019 - some BT boxes will be replaced by InLink kiosks.
