Galway - River Corrib Walk - Footbridge, Buildings
Galway - River Corrib Walk - Footbridge, Buildings
It appears that a vehicle bridge might have existed here in the past and that it was removed and replaced with a rudimentary footbridge of sorts, or perhaps a weir. The large building behind it is located east of Gaol Road and the parking area south of St Nicholas Cathedral. Shown in the distant background at the middle is the Salmon Weir Bridge.
