This castle is also known as Rossmore, and is a late C16 O'Hurley tower of four storeys. Built on a rock plateau, it was forfeited in the 1650s and granted to the Archbishop of Dublin. There are square bartizans on the NE and SW corners, and a box machicolation over the entrance doorway located on the east side. A spiral stair is contained within the SE corner.
