This tower has straight flights of stairs rising in the east wall from the north facing blocked entrance. In the C18 a latrine chute was adapted as a flue for a fireplace that was inserted in the basement. Marks in the stonework of the outline of a gable is evident of a former building that once adjoined the south side.
