TL4948 : Pre-Worboys road junction sign, Brewery Road, Pampisford

Pre-Worboys road junction sign, Brewery Road, Pampisford
This is one of the best surviving examples in the country, in perfect condition besides needing a coat of paint (as they need every 10-20 years when in official use) as the cast signs were the strongest made with many fingerposts lasting well over 100 years. Each county has their own policy for these signs and luckily Cambridgeshire are the most sympathetic in England to the red triangle warning signs as it meant I could get there and take all their photos. I am luckier still London had the most directions as I live there so managed a good collection.
