The Donard Ice House, Mourne Mountains
19th century ice house built by the Annesley Family (former owners of Donard Park) located beside the Glen River on the lower slopes of Slieve Donard (lower north face of Thomas's Mountain). Ice would have been collected from the river during the winter months and stored here. It was restored by Hearth Link
for the National Trust in the 1996-7.
