Horse-drawn wagon, JF Kennedy Memorial Arboretum
The JF Kennedy Memorial Arboretum was opened in 1968 by the President, Éamonn de Valera. The Arboretum is only 6 km from the Kennedy ancestral home in Dunganstown S6922. The site now extends to 252 hectares and includes specimens from 4500 species and varieties. A horse-drawn wagon conveys visitors the short distance between the car park and the tea room.
