The moulded frame, louvres and polychrome brick on the southern side of the tower, by Vincent Craig, completed in 1900.

Belmont Presbyterian church, at the corner of Sydenham Avenue and Norwood Drive, was built in 1860/61 to a design by WJ Barre. The tower and nave were added in 1898/1900.
