"Shane" at Giant's Causeway station, Giant's Causeway & Bushmills Railway
"Shane" was built in 1949 in Scotland for Bord ná Mona (Irish Peat Board) to work on their extensive system in the Republic of Ireland. Eventually it passed to the Shane's Castle Railway, which closed in 1995, and finally it arrived at the Giant's Causeway & Bushmills Railway. The locomotive was built to burn peat.
