Train at Malahide station - 1975
Designed by W H Mills and built in the 1890s, Malahide station is an excellent example of Great Northern Railway (Ireland) architecture and a frequent winner of “best kept station” awards. Hauled by a Metropolitan Vickers 1957 built 201 class Bo-Bo, a push-pull set enters the station with a Drogheda – Dublin passenger service.
