Youghal Harbour
Youghal Harbour
In 1954 John Huston used Youghal Harbour in his film Moby Dick. He attached wooden false frontages to the existing buildings - though the modern building dominating the quay didn't exist at that time - to create a replica of the fishing port of New Bedford in Massachusetts because it is said that he couldn't find an original enough location anywhere along the east coast of America.
