The Toome Bypass bridge
The Toome Bypass bridge
This striking bridge carries the Toome Bypass across the Lower Bann. Opened in 2004 it diverts 22,000 vehicles a day from the formerly very congested village. It also incorporates the cycle path seen here which is part of the National Cycle Network's Lower Bann Cycleway from Toome to Coleraine.
