taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Crawfordburn, Northern Ireland

Low water, Belfast Lough
Low water, Belfast Lough
The loughshore, between Helen’s Bay and Seahill, about 35 minutes before low water Belfast, with the rocky shore of Belfast Lough exposed to view. There was a brisk westerly/south westerly wind today but this particular bay was well sheltered. The hills, on the Co Antrim side of the lough, still have the remains of yesterday’s snow J3874 : Snow and pillar box, Belfast.
