The artist was David McClelland who describes it thus: “Rather than focus on celebrities that may have lived in the area I decided to focus on the one thing that makes a community – the people. I decided that each mural should incorporate stories and characters from the Tate’s Avenue area, with the intention of revealing the history of the area from the community’s perspective”.
This one features a peeler and a what looks like a Blueman (left).
Tate's Avenue bridge, Belfast

Tate’s Avenue originally crossed the GNR(I)’s Belfast – Dublin railway by a level crossing. The section of the line between Belfast and Lisburn opened in 1839. The present bridge replaced the level crossing.
