This impressive stone stile and wooden dog gate is where the Cotswold Way enters the northern corner of a small area of woodland known as "The Fuzzies" or "Three Bears' Wood".

The trees in the woodland are predominantly larch, and when viewed from several directions stand out raggedly against the skyline, hence the name the Fuzzies presumably.
