The tramway comes up the steep hill from Old Road and curves round to join Ty Gwyn Road, which it follows all the way up to the Half Way Station. A series of inspection plates can be seen set in the concrete all the way round the curve of the tramlines SH7782 : Tramway Inspection Cover The road to the left, in front of the phone box, is Wyddfyd Road, next, more or less on the level is the continuation of Ty Gwyn Road, and the steep hill is Old Road. Just out of sight to the right is Llwynon Road. The town and curve of the bay can be seen far below.
