ST8990 : Stone stile

taken 17 years ago, near to Shipton Moyne, Gloucestershire, England

Stone stile
Stone stile
This stile consists of two slabs of limestone, set on end into a gap in the drystone wall. An obverse view looking NE is ST8990 : Stone Stile, Shipton Moyne GS2037.

There is a narrow gap between the slabs, just big enough to get your foot through (though not if wearing walking boots).
