NN2345 : Coirein Lochain
'Corein' seems a bit of an odd word. I've only come across it in one other place, and that's Fionn Chorein in
NN2526, not far from here. Can any Gaelic expert throw some light on it?
Edit: could it be a diminutive form of coire, just as lochan is a diminutive of loch? I still don't think I've come across any other Gaelic word ending in -ein.
