Ballyboghil (Ballyboughal) River at Ballyboghil
Ballyboghil (Ballyboughal) River at Ballyboghil
One of the bigger rivers of County Dublin, the Ballyboghil gathers a number of tributaries as it flows across Fingal, passing through the village of the same name. Here we see the river as it continues just below the bridge on the main north-south road, passes a level gauge, with the eastern road in parallel and a bench. Just to the right of photographer position, there is a small tributary stream and an informational plaque on local hedgerows.
