Little Dargle River in northern Churchtown
Little Dargle River in northern Churchtown
The Little Dargle River (no connection at all to the Dargle down in Bray) winds in a nice open valley, popular with walkers, below the Braemor Road, at the end of whoich it receives the Castle Stream from the direction of Rathfarnham, before cutting under roads in culvert to reach the Dodder just to the north, all in the vicinity of the triumphal arch which once formed a gateway to Rathfarnham Castle lands.
