This is the Roman Catholic church for Killimer and nearby area. St.Imy is a local saint and the Patroness of Killimer. She lived most or all of her life in the sixth century. St. Imy is believed to have been the sister of St. Senan, who was at one time the Bishop of Scattery Island.
