Boyce's Brook, near confluence with River Ribble at Ribchester
In July 2013 tree-felling took place along the east bank of Boyce's Brook, close to its confluence with the River Ribble. This was due to the one of the large willows falling across the brook and onto the path depicted in the winter of 2012. The rather ugly stumps of several felled willows can be seen to the left. The path is often impassable during the winter months due to thick mud, but in a dry summer it is regularly used by walkers and schoolchildren - the grounds of the village school are just up to the right.
