heading back to Bangor harbour on an emergency call. The passenger with no helmet is a crewman from the cruise ship 'Arcadia' Link

. The ship, on passage from Southampton to Reykjavik, was diverted to the mouth of Belfast Lough after the crewman sustained a broken arm; it anchored off Groomsport Link

and Bangor Lifeboat was dispatched to bring him ashore to a waiting ambulance on the Central Pier (he was later discharged from hospital and sent home to recuperate).
