Information board, Hatch's Castle
It includes the following text in the description, "The building is a smaller but older medieval tower house than Ardee Castle and is distinctive due to its unusual rounded corners. It was given to the Hatch Family by Oliver Cromwell and is still used as a private dwelling. Two 18th Century cannons can be found at the entrance to the building. Tradition has it that the castle was connected to St. Mary's Abbey by means of an underground passage."
