SC3875 : Moving the Jubilee clock

taken 10 years ago, near to Douglas, Isle of Man

Moving the Jubilee clock
Moving the Jubilee clock
Having stood here since 1887 the clock is being moved about 8 metres as part of the promenade improvement scheme.
I was surprised to see workmen actually entering the column itself!
I hadn't realised there was an access panel.
