Boredale Hause from Nettleslack
Boredale Hause is a typical glacial coomb (cym) lying at the head of Boredale and forms a pass between Place Fell and Angletarn Pikes, linking Boredale with Patterdale. Hause originates from the Vikings and means pass in Cumbria. Boredale lies to the south of Ullswater, Boredale Beck emptying into the lake at Sandwick.
