SY6890 : Damselfly laying eggs

taken 13 years ago, near to Dorchester, Dorset, England

Damselfly laying eggs
Damselfly laying eggs
This large red damselfly was far too busy laying her eggs on the underside of a water hawthorn leaf, to worry about a camera lens being stuffed in her face. A bit of a cheat really as the photo was taken on my garden pond.
